Last winter (2011) I would regularly walk home after midnight, and over time a project developed. In empty streets and with people asleep I imagined myself walking around in their dreams. Where they received messages from the collective unconscious, riddled with sacred geometry and metaphors for their hopes and fears.

Though actually they were my hopes and fears, and it was my own unconscious I was poking with a stick, or rather a camera. In the end this project was a way of confronting and documenting my own state of mind. That certain state of mind you’re likely to acquire from a long winter.
