Here are five of my childhood years. Here is where I started as an artist.
Thanks to my dear mom, these few early works survived through time. For my mother, these drawings are precious memories. For me, they are a reminder of progression and innocence. For you, they will probably be a source of melancholia and laughter. Probably you will run through your antigue paperwork, that you have kept for a long time. If you make time to do that, take a few moments to remember. Who guided your hand when writing your very first letters. What did you use to eat back then. What colour had your teacher’s hair. Or what was the name of the girl that you fell in love with for the first time.
Either way, I think we all have a common start, which is childhood. I think that every each of us can relate to these drawings, not just me. So here is a tribute to those who encouraged me throughout the time and to recollection.
I would like, with this occasion, to thank to my mother for her kindness and patience towards my artistic inclination and for her faith in my gift.
