As a way of gauging the impact of messaging on sales, I was tasked with creating 4 different home page designs for Makie.me. The idea was each for each visitor to see a randomly generated design and record which one saw the most activity through clicks. Not only did we try different messaging but also different ways of conveying this as well as seeing what effect the 3D printing aspect had in comparison to the core principle of owning a unique toy. Although slightly outside of the original brief, I also made modifications to simplify the navigation and UI as I felt the original may have destracted users from the most important parts of the test.
