Make-up Design
ay 2011
These examples of makeup designs were created during the summer of 2011.
The objective of this design was two-fold.  We were required to apply makeup in a manner so as to switch gender as well as we were required to build our own hair pieces using crepe hair.  For this design we chose to be Rhett and Ashley from Gone With the Wind as depicted by Clark Gable and Leslie Howard in the 1939 movie.
For this design, we were given an idea and were required to create both a realistic version as well as a non-realistic version.  In this image I am representing love.
In this image I am displaying modeling of the contours of my face.
We were each required to create animal makeup on ourselves.  In this image I am a cat.
I created a prostethic bride which went from my nose to my forehead, in an attempt to resemble a vampite from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series.
This photo shows the more realistic version of love as my make-up was created to resemble cupid.
This photo show various injuries created by make-up.
This image is a more detailed view of the vampire make-up.
In this incarnation I am Ursula the sea-witch from the Little Mermaid.
In this image I am displaying techniques in order to give the appearance of old age.
