Make Meaning is a first of its kind destination for kids and adults to have fun with creativity. They offer over 50 constantly changing experiences featuring popular mediums including Glass, Ceramics, Jewelry, Paper, Soap, Candles, Cake Decorating and more. Their hands-on staff of ACEs (Associate Creativity Enthusiasts) serve up endless tips and tricks to provide their customers with all the inspiration needed to create things that result in a "wow" every time.
Founder and CEO, Dan Nisannoff, approached DXB to bring this same vision he had for their nationwide stores, to the web.
Make Meaning was looking for a destination for their customers to learn and experience the many things you could do in their physical stores. Their online presence not only had to engage those familiar with the brand, but help introduce it to others around the country not yet exposed to this one-of-a-kind adventure. What DXB brought to life was the ability for an online visitor to get a sneak peek into the store's offerings. Booking instructor-led classes, browsing through and shopping Make Meaning's store of merchandise, reserving a table for 2 for a first date or planning a party.. whether for your kid's birthday or your boss' retirement.
Make Meaning's staff has the ability to manage their entire site, kitchen sink included. From their online shop's product catalog, to classes and events they're offering, party bookings and lots more. And on top of it all, the entire MakeMeaning.com site is built on a fully-customizable Content Management System.
MakeMeaning.com launched their first store on the UWS of NYC in September of 2010 and has seen tremendous growth, both inside their store walls and online. DXB has become a strategic partner to deliver all of Make Meaning's technology initiatives. Beginning in 2011 and for the next several years, DXB will continue to support Make's continual rollout of new stores around the country, which now include a 2nd location on the UES of NYC, one in Scottsdale, AZ and the latest in Dedham, MA. We're also working on an iPad app (for in-store staff as well as online guests), full-service party bookings, a host of new membership options, coupon and gift support and deep integration with Make's in-store POS systems. And loads more, as Make quickly grows to become a nationally-recognized brand.
