One of Los Angeles’ pre-eminent property developers, Maguire Partners, asked CWA to design a surf inspired office space located one block from Santa Monica Beach with dramatic ocean views. With a simple functional brief, CWA developed a vocabulary of undulating curved shapes to frame beach views and express the motion of water.

Anchored at both ends of the space, the executive conference rooms are enclosed with glass shards and slanting walls. The expression of motion and energy is carried through in the detailing of the floating ceiling and millwork. New CNC technology enabled the precise execution of highly complex and organic geometries.
