Magner Manor is located in Mallow, Co.Cork, the objectives for this project was to brand the hotel, and apply that brand to stationary, signage and other promotional pieces. As oak trees are prominent in the area I decided that the mark of an oak leaf floating in the wind would give a classy, yet contemporary feeling. There is a duality in the logo as the leaf also mimics golfing terrain, and the circle is an implied visual of a golf ball after being struck, marking the 'land' and rolling up the stem which can be seen as a hill.
