1. The first one had to be graffiti based. Having found a spray can tutorial to help, I learnt how to combine the 3D capabilities of Illustrator with the rendering capabilities of Photoshop.
2. My 'Build' cover again used the 3D technique to add building textures to block text. The layout of the magazine is simple with a feature made of the barcode.
3. Finally, the 'Ideas' magazine layers textures with the aim of simulating a pinboard. This involved warping and shadowing shapes to give depth. I hoped to create something that would stand out if it were in a shop.
