College project
I created a magazine named Winter Wonderland. It is designed to provide information as well as tips and advice on making the most of the cold season. It is aimed at families and people looking to find inspiration and new ideas during the winter months.
I designed a front cover with the main feature article shown in a bigger type to create a strong focal point. I then added the other article titles in a smaller type to fill the layout and balance the page. I chose a photo that stands out and contrasts against the type to create an eye-catching cover. I also designed a double page spread about enjoying the snow and staying safe when sledding, and a contents page using pictures and type to create a bold layout and entice the reader into the magazine.
