This was a graphic design assignment, this is meant to be an art, design and photography magazine, although the feature article (also known as the only article) is based on the contempoary use of Paper Sculpture and how to develop it, written by your's truly.
The First image, which appears on the front cover, is my friend, who has half of her face covered with a geometric paper sculpture pattern, she is also wearing delicate hand cut lashes, made my Paperself.
The Image following on the next page features the same geometric pattern applied differently, now on a flat stable surface (paper) and has varying colours. It was then photographed, and makes up the background as a clipping mask is placed above (created in Illustrator, imported to Indesign). The background took 1 day and a half to make, although the variety of angles to photogrpah it proved to be intriguing and dynamic. It was just amazing to see, how simply, the way angle something is photographed, can instantly distort the perception.
