This one above is an excerpt from Saba Azad's brief to me.
Saba is one half of Mumbai based dirty electro swing disco funk band MADBOY/MINK.
MADBOY/MINK are a drug. An electro cabaret experience that goes straight to the head.
Some time ago I'd heard Madboy/Mink perform in New Delhi. It was a great dance swing-set evening.
India has some great live music coming up again. We can all agree live music has unparalled energy.
There can never be enough good music. All genres welcome.
Music is such a big part of everyday, you are sitting on your computer or your easel working on projects -
music playlists meticulously gathered for all moods and all purposes.
It seems natural to design for music.
Madboy/Mink wanted something minimal, that would work big and when scaled down to thumbnails.
A cat was one of the elements they had in mind. I had fun working with them.
