MTV Classic: Masters at Work ident

This is an ident that MTV commissioned me to make for their MTV Classic channel in Australia.
They wanted something like an homage to Kanye Wests fantastic Power music clip, which was airing at the time (vimeo.com/13947776).
Working with MTV promo producer Andy Wallace, we decided to construct a classical painting-like scene featuring MTV classics main music artists culminating in an epic theatrical explosion.
