Minimal Magazine - Branding & Web
The aim was to take minimalism to an extreme, to maintain it as a theme throughout the entire design process, the least colours & external influences possible, using whitespace extensively to achieve a largely minimal aesthetic. In addition to this, as few images as possible were used throughout the development of the site, reducing load times & any distracting influences on the main focus of the site -- the content.
In terms of branding, the aim was to strip the word "Minimal" down to it's bare bones, taking to removing any un-necessary characters, without compromising the words readability. Combined with strictly geometric typography & a crisp monochrome colour scheme, we aimed to portray everything the magazine stands for, simplicity in its purest form.
