Meetube
In a three-day music festival, who doesn't need a resting area where they can meet up with their friends?
Meetube was designed for Primavera Sound, a music festival that annually takes place in Barcelona, Spain, at "Park Forum," a 16 hectares space.
Up to 98% of people who go to a music festival claim to have gotten lost or losing their friends. We set out to design a recognizable resting area to wait and meet friends and, perhaps, meet new people.
In the search for materials, we found corrugated tubing. This tubing is typically used in construction, making it very affordable. At the same time, it is a fully reusable and recyclable material.
Exploring this unusual material, we discovered that its qualities allowed us to create several seats with a very particular appearance and allow us to create a full experience and space for the festival.
