Lynx spider
- Lynx Spider
Oxyopes - Lynx Spiders get their name from the Lynx cat. Lynx spiders do not build a nest or web to catch their prey, but pounce on them like a cat (hence the common name of the spider). Very agile and quick. They are found throughout the world and mostly hang out in southern regions. Their eyes are arranged in a hexagon format and abdomen taper to a point. These spiders also have "spiny" long hair all over their bodies and usually hang out in vegetation and grasses.
