This collection aims to explore the regional traditions of the province Holland of which I draw my ancestral heritage.Using a combination of handcrafted techniques with more contemporary methods such as laser cutting. By the blending of these two concepts I am acknowledging the richness of the traditional clothing interwoven with a post modernistic approach.The collection itself is called “Luctor et Emergo” (I struggle and rise). This stems from my roots and strives to encapsulate my journey up until now.
