Lucky Friday Logo development
Logo development done at Designs4development for Lucky Friday shop
The inspiration for this logo design came form the many hand painted signs around Cape Town. Cape Town has a few small cool drink companies (like Bashews, Coo-ee and DoubleO), and for their advertising signwriters would paint these companies' advertisements directly on corner shop walls.
I drew the typograhy with a brush and ink and created 3 extra 'flavours' of the logo (in pink, orange and green) to use on swingtickets and stickers in the store.
Because the logo was based on hand painted signage, I hand painted the new Lucky Friday sign.
