A new glass studio by veteran glass worker Samantha Carlin commissioned an illustration from Josh Divine, Ltd. Samantha had decided that her previous identity was cold and didn't gel with her personality or that of her work. Josh Divine first did a series of sketches based on the concept of adding Samantha's personal details to the iconic "Rosie the Riveter." I then used a digital process to color the image (making sure to up the warmth!). The work has since graced websites, trade show banners, printed matter and other collateral.
