Sometimes an idea, an entity, just pops up into your mind. An idea with life of its own, an almost sentient being made of imagination, like Lucibel. Not a fallen angel, but a rising demon.
Always a fan of Baroque music, and especially fond of organ compositions, I dreamt of a beautiful devil performing at the King of Instruments, her music being the most subjugating power. So I had no other chance but drawing her, in exacting detail, with graphite over vellum. Then, digital colour. One of my favourite illustrations ever.
