In this project, my assignment was to create the visual identity and branding backbone for an off broadway production with a somewhat retro feel. Client discussions centered around 60s and 70s artwork from movie posters and Broadway shows for inspiration, but with an updated appeal.
The content of the play revolves around Lucy, the proprietor of an X-Rated shop which opens right next door to a religious bookstore. The props and elements portrayed are elements of the set design, and a number of pieces are being produced as neon for the production. Other designs wiil be available as merchandise.
