My focus point in this project would be the way media portrays an unreal image
of people, and the impact that this has in the way we see ourselves. Men and women radically change their appearance in order to look more like the fantasy human beings that appear in TV and magazines. Using headlines from different women´s magazines I inspired myself to create a series of collages that talk about some of the crazy obsessions that are rooted in our society.
This work is not a personal attack to any fashion lovers or make up users, is meant to have a humorous touch and to be the starting point of a debate on the matter, where could we draw the line?
