Kara Colvin's senior film at Savannah College of Art and Design, Long Live The King, is an adaption of the historic story of Guy Fawkes and the 1605 gunpowder plot.
Guy Fawkes, infamous English terrorist caught in the midst of the 1605 gunpowder plot to blow up parliament and kill the King, recollects on the events leading up to his capture, the night before his execution. Fawkes finds his recollections preoccupied on the lover he is leaving behind, and the conflict between his earthly devotion to her and his tireless commitment to the principles for which he must die.
