A modern re-branding of the London Transportation Museum.
While the existing museum’s premise is on the historical past of London’s Transport, I wanted to present the museum from a modern perspective. This speculative branding initiative spans the history of transport as a whole; with a focus on technological innovation.
The logo treatment is designed to symbolize two streets or train tracks merging, and create the form of a T. The mark is modular and can be combined to form a larger system of connecting roads. I've also proposed an additional urban application that allows people to serendipitously find the museum by following points A on the sidewalk to point B, the museum entrance. This simple exercise embodies the essence of travel, which at it's heart is a journey from A to B.
