From April 11th to May 3rd, 2011, Lomography and Times Square Hong Kong presented an exhibition in Times Square, Hong Kong.

This joint exhibition was a unique introduction to the analogue world of Lomography with an exciting exhibition space outside and gigantic Lomography cameras inside the shopping mall.
A special edition of the Sprocket Rocket camera and the Lomography City Guide Hong Kong were commissioned for this exhibition.

Outdoor Exhibit:

LomoWorldMap - A giant, walkable map made of 40,000 individual Lomographic photographs was created exclusively for this event. All pictures were taken with analogue Lomography cameras by lomographers around the world.

Hong Kong LomoWall - the biggest LomoWall in Hong Kong’s Lomographic history. This giant Lo­moWall was made by thousands of Lomographers’ photos dedicated to Hong Kong, and it featured its signature skyline.

The Giant Hong Kong Lomography City Guide - coinciding with this special occasion, we launched the Lomography City Guide Hong Kong; a unique look at the city through a Lomographer’s eyes. But that was not all: we decided to go big and create a giant version of the City Guide, were people could interacted and get the latest scoop on the city or add their own messages to its giant pages.

Indoor Exhibit:

On the 2nd floor we built four giant cameras: the Sprocket Rocket (interactive media exhibition), Fisheye 2 (pop-up shop), Diana F+ plus lens cap (with a bench on the lens to sit) and Lomo Lubitel 166+ (trampoline).

Times Square is considered a public artistic place and it holds various art exhibitions, cultural projects, charity events as well as movie promotions.

The Times Square Lomography Hong Kong Exhibition was created by the Lomographic Society International. The project was developed by the in-house design and architecture teams. Read Less
