Logo Experiment

Objectives : To question about the definition of graphic design.
Key words : graphic design/ definition / rules/  anaglog / stone / hand painting / mass production
I reproduce logos. But mine cannot be reproduced again.
Are they graphic design or not?
This project started from theoretical questions about graphic design ; what is graphic design?
What defines graphic design? What are stereotypes exist about graphic design? It led me to come up
with questions; what if I take opposite form of conventional definition of graphic design?
I reproduce a logo. But mine cannot be reproduced again. I want to ask if my reinterpreted logo can be
considered as graphic design or not.

In the history of graphic design, printing press made books widely available in Europe.
And the first publication of a printed design was released which marked the separation of graphic design from fine art. Nowadays, graphic design is based on the mechanism of mass-production. We live in the world that
logos, packages and publications kept being endlessly reproduced. Digitalized and simplified images of graphic design, especially logos, are what made me think about the true definition of graphic design.
