Veneto 2100. Living With Water
“Living with water – Veneto 2100″ is the result of a research project carried on during 2012 by urban designers Latitude Platform in collaboration with anthropologist Valentina Bonifacio, Studio Iknoki and the collective design researchers Unità di Crisi.
The project investigates how the region of Veneto can transform starting from a number of water threats and opportunities and it has been presented at the 5th Architecture Biennale of Rotterdam – Making City.
Together with Latitude Platform we developed the design of the wall-map which illustrates the future Veneto highlighting the dense presence of water. Infact the map has been printed on a translucent opaline PVC and backlighted with a very slow flashing light.
As well as the design of the big wall-map which was exhibited in Rotterdam, we also designed a series of infographics in order to visualize the results of the anthropologic surveys.
