  • 1:9 Literacy Crisis
For every blind child that reads, there are 9 others who can't.
  • _Project
To create an awareness campaign for the NFB (National Federation of the Blind) by redesigning a logo, creating a motion typography/animated video, poster, and website design. The purpose is to call attention to the alarming literacy rate among the blind and visually impaired.

    _Concept
10 dots are used in the logo, reminiscent of the braille system, with one darker than the rest, to represent this statistic for the blind: for every blind child that reads, there are 9 others who can’t. The other campaign pieces follow through with the use of the same aesthetics: clear, bold, and infographic to distribute knowledge across all audiences on the subject.
