Inspired by my favorite literature, my Liter(art)ure is hand-dotted portraiture of authors in their books. Using a fine Rapidograph pen, I create the portraits using dots, the density acting like a newspaper photo to give the illusion of shading. I frame the completed pieces in shadowbox frames, mounting the books with as little modification as possible.
