A pre-existing idea that has been around for a decade, and become popular in the last 3-4 years, this is a refined concept PET preform blow moulded consumer drink bottle with a future.
Using the premise of a coke bottle submerged into a tin roof, this concept fits the product to the second life to enable the end use of the bottle to be more widely known, publicised and practised. The body promotes the purpose, and encourages donation recycling.
How it works!
First life = consumer water bottle.
Second life = Simple to install low-tech light refracting light bulb for 3rd world / developing countries.
The shoulder profile meets a mass standard corrugated roofing profile for simple installation. Drill one hole, drop in with a small amount of silicone around the base of the shoulder and a light is born.
