"Life on the edge" is the name of a strand aired on Discovery Channel.
The programs featured during this airtime segment were dedicated to adrenaline lovers
and focused on different adventure sports.
The brief was to emphasise the sense of challenge, hazard and suspense at the core of extreme ventures. The idea was to picture a man alone with his desire of hitting his own limits
and to litterally show the very thin line that can sometimes keep him alive.
The guy on the portaledge was shot on HDV, on blue back.
All the environment was designed and composited later in 3D CGI.
