Li2bit, Concrete Salt + Pepper Shakers

Li2bit, Concrete Salt + Pepper Shakers
Some type of sub-title
“Li2bitt” is a set of salt and pepper shakers made out of concrete in the shape of city fire hydrants designed by Davide Carbone and Elda Bellone in attempt to give relevance and attention to ordinary objects that we normally take for granted. They were inspired by the O’brien Model of fire hydrants that were introduced in the 1980s, celebrating and reevaluating the simple things around us by giving them a different purpose, changing the meaning and function that we’re used to associating with. The usage of concrete is intended to reflect a sense of urban setting since it is most commonly used on concrete sidewalks, the playful combination of material and form results in an object reminiscent of very specific urban memories.

We have made molds and we are able to run VERY small production, we'd be interested in turning these into a actual product
