What can only be described as a personal "Love job", anyone who's planned their own wedding knows how important the stationary is. It sets the tone of the wedding well before the big day arrives, introduces the key players, and shows those invited just how much planning and preparation has really gone into your big event.

As a Designer it's also an excuse to splash out on those amazing fronts I've had my eyes on. It was also an opportunity to try my hand at designing for letterpress, and thanks to the help of a newly established Sydney letterpress company The Distillery I found all the guidance I needed.

Early on in the wedding planning we had decided that we were keen to keep things simple, elegant and if possible, understated. Hydrangeas are one of the Brides favourite flowers and the choice to have letterpress came quite easily, as it meant we could benefit from some beautiful paper stock. The invitations were a great success, and I will be looking forward to any more opportunities to design for letterpress.
