My area of emphasis that I studied in school was graphic design. HOWEVER, I down right LOVE letterpress printing. In fact, if I wasn't so close to graduation, I probably would have changed my emphasis to printmaking. I really enjoy the meticulous work that goes into letterpress printing. Graphic design and letterpress are great friends. You can't beat b-e-a-utiful, well set type, letterpressed into sexy paper! Example: Cameron Moll's Colosseo and Salt Lake City Temple letterpress posters...love them! I did my internship with Dingbat Press and continued to work there after completing the internship. Here are a few of the business cards I printed. The designs were created by the very talented Adrienne Berry. Colors were matched to specific Pantone numbers and registered, ever so carefully, with photopolymer plates. All of these were printed on a flatbed, cylinder press. Enjoy!
