I am lucky enough to be a part of the Letter Society! A design collective that was the brain child of friend and former SCAD classmate Erik Wagner. Letter society is a way for me to explore projects and aspects of my creativity that are otherwise cut off by commerical design constraints as a designer at LPK. 

 

The first project was to design a drop cap. Mine was inspired by my favorite book: The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett! This drop cap is inspired by the design process of the great cathedrals in a time before modern building instruments and materials.
