OPPORTUNITY
The opportunity for this project was to create an original poster to inspire the residents of Michigan
to revive their state. The poster had to be rendered in the iconic WPA style, as well as be forward-looking and inspirational.
SOLUTION
After researching Detroit’s current state, one thing stood out: this is a city that needs to be restored to its former glory. Restoration being the key word, one can’t help but associate it with buildings, statues, or other man made beauties.
Using the Spirit of Detroit as a guide, a poster was created to encourage the citizens of Detroit to step up and make an effort to restore the beautiful statues of their great city.
