Lenticular Clouds sounds like chillwave, witch house and hypnagogic pop, with electronic details and broken rhythms; something that reminds you of a velvet laden IDM. As references we could name Toro & Moi, OoOoOO, Washed Out, Holy Other, Baths or Blackbird Blackbird. This DIY project is the work of Albert Zaragoza Gas who plays the keyboard, guitar and sequencer, all guided by a voice submerged in reverb and delay.
He has been included in compilations of Egyptian Maraccas together with chillwave pioneers such as Stephen Farris (Ra Callum, Cosmic Sound) IVVO. Kuhrye-oo, Lord Boyd, or Heroburst. He was also featured in a mix-tape by Vice Nueva York, with artists such as Young Montana or Elite Gymnastics. He has put out numerous mix-tapes for media like Concepto Radio or Neonized Magazine, where he has been writing for more than 3 years.
His debut album “CIENCIA/CONCIENCIA 12”(Neonized Records/2011)” has been very well received by specialized press, specially incountries such as Sweden, Mexico, UK, USA and Japan. Being tagged as one of the'bands to keep your eye on' in 2012 by Playground and Concepto Radio or as a Spanish representative for the Music Alliance Pact in July 2011, are just a couple of ways to recognize his way ofunderstanding electronics.
