Part of 'Accidental Grocers' by Slow Food Milano, a research project for a sustainable and alternative food supply chain, 'Legami di Pane', literally 'bread ties', is a collaborative service that involves commuters in the distribution of genuine bakery products from the producers of the Milanese hinterland to the residents of the city center. The idea is to take advantage of the daily route of the commuters coming from outside the city to encourage sustainable lifestyles, promote local products and create new relationships. The main actors involved in the service are bakers, commuters and buyers. The service is managed by a web and mobile platform that allows to exchange information and to enhance interactions among the different members.
