Throughout the centuries, the typographic orientations have been developed to increase consistency and competence inside the profession, to preserve the beauty and legibility of the typographic shape, and guarantee that it keeps it’s job – clearly represent the author’s intentions. The guidelines here presented are not absolute or definitive, but representative of a strong selection of typographic “rules” tested by time, that intend to give a context to the informed typographic exploration. By other words, the rules must be first interiorized before they can be challenged. Once known how to obey the rules, you can freely initiate the journey by unconventional roads.
For the creation of the leaflet about this theme the used reference was about the political questions throughout the history. Thus, the side were it’s mandatory to implement the typographic norms emerged an inspired composition on the oppressive system that was lived in the Hitler regime and the typographic choice is based on his political propaganda posters. The rear side seeks to illustrate the uprising of the anarchists and by all those that opposed and remediated against the oppressive regimes. That is why the colour red and the graphite, element and technic used by these, that in this composition emphasize the “scream of rebellion”.
