This work was done for a Layout course at college. We had to make layouts for bookcovers on any five out of the many pronciples of layout; I choose figure and ground, asymmetry, symmetry, passive and hierarchy as the principles that I wanted to work on. The assignment required me to translate them into an image for the book cover, as well as a small write that translates my understanding of each principle, this was what culminated into the summary on the back page.
I also made layouts of a small piece on 'Giambattista Bodoni' following the same principles of layout; grids and margins, figure and ground, visual anchor, hierarchy, symmetry.
