Illustration for «Viernes de Ilustración», a collective show of weekly, thematic artwork among a Mexican community of illustrators. The subject, this time, was «Heroes», so I took the chance to make a tribute to Joan of Arc, one of my favourite historic characters, probably one of the youngest persons in History that had a major influence in shaping the Western world, besides being a quite intriguing and enigmatic one. And, on the top of it all, a girl! The artwork was executed with traditional and digital techniques.
