The vertical flows identify, over the centuries, the number of saints of the catholic calendar who
lived in the different geographical areas which have been considered.
1.063 pages available in the Cathopedia and dedicated to the description of each saints were examined. The color of the spheres indicate the social level or profession of the saints,
while the size is proportionate to the number of saints per group.
