La Haine, “The Hate”, is a 1995 French movie directed in black and white and written, co-edited and directed by Mathieu Kassovitz. This drama portrays the life of three young men, friends and their fights to live in the suburbs of Paris. The title comes from the words of Hubert: “La Haine Attise la Haine” – “Hate awakens hate.” Based in this film a poster was made that tried to come close into an “ice tombstone” to show the coldness of hate and what it can lead to.
