    For Graphic Design II class at UW-Stout in November 2011
  • The project was to choose any brand for any reason, and redesign their logotype, stationary system, and a series of implementations. I chose to redesign LUSH cosmetics. For how complex of a company they are, I felt their identity needed to be better represented through a more complex, well thought out system. You can see the original identity at lush.com
  • OUR MISSION
    At LUSH we pride ourselves on our natural ingredients, our ethical outsourcing, and our handmade cosmetics. Our goal is to better the world through our strong activist pursuits, and by the way we treat our planet each day. We love what we do, and we hope you love it too.

    OUR BRAND
    Our branding system is meant to portay three of the strongest facets of the LUSH company 
    [1] all natural ingredients
    [2] beautiful handmade cosmetics
    [3] resourceful ethical outsourcing
  • The LUSH logotype is meant to represent the three facets of the LUSH company coming together in ambiguous forms to make one cohesive whole. Each application of the LUSH logotype uses three random colors selected from a grouping of seven colors approved in the style guide. This ensures each product and employee is treated individually, while still having them fully integrated into the branding system as a whole.
