For their iPad edition, TIME wanted photographic animations that would showcase the fine motor skills of LEGO®’s new robots. I created detailed lighting in studio and shot with a RED Epic, constructing the city set myself. I then edited and did the color grading and retouching in Autodesk Smoke, adding a morph as a final touch to make the animation loops perfect.
