Kulturhavn (Cultural Harbour) is an annual harbour festival held every August at Islands Brygge Harbour Park in central Copenhagen. Kulturhavn means three days of dance, music, theatre, artistry and a variety of sporting events, in the harbour as well as on the quay.

My suggestion for a visual identity is based on the location. The festival differs from other cultural offerings as it takes place in the port areas. As basic elements of the visual identity, I've taken the Danish language and translated it into a maritime language consisting of the nautical alphabets colorful signal flags. The overall visual impression is interesting and compelling because of its puzzle-like nature, and the varying flags can also - in a symbolic sense - be seen as the great variety of different activities taking place within the same framework.
