Kobe Bryant aka The Black Mamba needs no proper introduction. An upcoming legend, Kobe is one of the most prolific players in the NBA. He’s lead the Lakers into victory for four years and has been crowned MVP numerous times. Kobe’s on court ability is dynamic, articulate, and consistent. In return, his competitive nature has turned him into a cultural icon.
Kobe's Enter the Zone feature is about learning the game from a set of lessons. You then in turn challenge your knowledge with a basketball IQ test. Depending on how well you answer the questions the environments around you will change, transcending from cold dark spaces to classic wood floors, and brightly lit shiny surfaces.
I worked as the lead designer on this project and executed the art direction. I created the environments and the animations such as the 3d statues, buttons etc. In the process I worked closely with a core team of five to develop the concept.
