The Kloc House is an infill project designed for a young couple, one of whom has lived on and off of this family property for over 30 years. This vision was quite simple, create a home that has a similar presence and footprint to the original house with a modest and modern design.

The sketch of the site plan above shows the house positioned to the west of the property as it was originally. This allows for a close connection to the yard and a smaller presence to the street, keeping to the modest presence the house had previously. This orientation also preventes sight lines to the 2 storey four-plex to the west and maintaines almost all of the original landscaping.
