At the time I was really intrigued by symmetrical artwork, as well as tying it in with Jesus being both fully man and fully God at the same time. I was also experimemting with blacka nd white as well, although it may give the total opposite impression of God as he is often refered to as light, controversy was the ploy.

There is however a a shining halo above the head of the shrowed figure who sits on what seems to be a throne. I norder to make it relevant and contemporary I used a young hooded man to represent Jesus.
