King Kong is designed and sculpted by legendary film maker, Ray Harryhausen. 1/48 scale cold-cast porcelain stands about 10" tall when assembled and includes figure, platform, metal hardware and chains. A special edition set of metal cast figures was made available for a short time during the initial release of the kit in 1993. My copy of the kit was signed by Mr. Harryhausen at the 1993 Boston Monster Modelfest at the 57, on Stuart Street, Boston.
