Redesign the Kindle logo and package in a breakthrough way, and apply them to the advertising campaign.
PART 1: KINDLE LOGO REDESIGN
Kindle uses the electronic ink display to provide a better visual experience like reading with paper. So the new logo is designed with monospaced font that was used for traditional print. Designing ‘i’ with a Kindle shows people who are reading. Especially, the angle of Kindle is 135˚ - the most comfortable reading degree. The colour used Amazon’s black and yellow.
Type blocks are used for print, which could present the concept of Electronic Ink Display well. 
PART 2: KINDLE PACKAGE REDESIGN
Kindle is a new product for people to better read. ‘A New Way to Read’ is the concept for this packaging design. Outside package is designed as a traditional ‘book’, which represents the main function of Kindle. During the process of opening the package, consumers would compare traditional books with Kindle and explore the benefits of the Kindle spontaneously by themselves - Kindle is an innovative product for them to read in a new and convenient way.
Many Kindles are sold via Amazon.com, and the company could know the name of the future master according to the post information. Therefore, the master name could be printed on a transparent paper and stick it as the author of this Kindle ‘book’, which enable this Kindle is exclusive for them. Little detail makes consumers realize the intention of Kindle attentively.
HIGHLIGHT OF THE PACKAGE
The original ‘Once upon a time’ tearing paper is the only protective device. While the new design ‘Throw it away, a new way to read will be available’ also sets an exploring experience to make users clear about the advantage of Kindle. After tear the thick book - protective paper, the thinner Kindle will be shown.
PACKAGE INSIDE
Traditional print composes many lead letter blocks together to print newspaper and books, which used to demonstrate that Kindle could provide you the same feeling as reading with paper. That’s the reason why Kindle is designed reversely as type blocks. Closing and opening the package one time, the owner prints a Kindle logo on the screen.

Also,owning a Kindle, owning a library. The users could get a large number of books that show you many kinds of colourful world. It also shows indirectly the E-books service of Amazon.com.
